Dunajová, Karolína ; Fulková, Marie (advisor) ; Jakubcová Hajdušková, Lucie (referee)
This thesis focuses on the concepts of meditation, contemplation and spirituality in visual art. It tries to explain and describe them in the framework of artistic creation in historical and contemporary contexts, in general terms, but also in pedagogical and didactic theories and approaches. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to these concepts within art, pedagogical theory and practice, and to find out how other educators work with these issues within art classes. The practical part includes the artist's approach to these themes in her own artistic elaboration of the artist's work realized outdoors. In the didactic part, specific artistic tasks and procedures are formulated, which are realized by the pupils of the Primary Art School in Štětí. The didactic work is concluded with a questionnaire survey of 23 respondents of primary and art schools. Initiation sacraments in canonical and liturgical law
BENEŠOVÁ, Marie
The Church sanctifies the world primarily by celebrating the liturgy and administering the sacraments. In the Catholic Church, we distinguish seven sacraments instituted by Jesus Christ. The thesis discusses the so-called initiation sacraments, baptism, confirmation and the Eucharist. Their acceptance is required in the case of repeated reception of the Eucharist for full initiation into the Christian life. The most sublime Eucharist is the source and at the same time the peak of all our actions. The thesis refers to both the biblical/historical roots and particularly to the current canonical and liturgical practice of administering initiation sacraments from the point of view of the canon law of the Latin Church (CIC/1983), the canon law of the churches of the Eastern Rite sui iuris (CCEO), official liturgical books (e.g., General Instruction of the Roman Missal) and other documents of the magisterium and relevant church authority concerning the liturgy.
Secretly ordained bishops in the 2nd half of the 20th century. An example of the life and work of bishop Kajetán Matoušek
Šustr, Vratislav ; Zdichynec, Jan (advisor) ; Koura, Petr (referee)
This thesis focuses on the life of the secretly consecrated Roman Catholic bishop Kajetán Matoušek. The author will try to compare Matoušek's life and career to the fate and work of other secretly consecrated Roman Catholic bishops who were ordained in the same historical period and served in the Prague archdiocese. The bishops are Ladislav Hlad, ThLic. Karel Otčenášek, PaedDr. and František Cardinal Tomášek. The comparison of K. Matoušek's life to the life of others is based on their individual life stages and milestones, such as childhood, studies, or motivation to become a priest, as well as the circumstances of the secret ordination. Preserved materials about the above-mentioned bishops stored in Archiv bezpečnostních složek (Security Services Archive) were used for this thesis as well as the materials found in the Archives of the Prague Archbishopric, where are stored mainly official materials. An equally important source of information is a family archive of the Novotný family, which was related to Bishop Matoušek (the Matoušek family's male line died out with Bishop Matoušek himself), from which many photographs, but also other materials analyzed in this thesis were obtained. Finally, the so-called second parish records of the St. Adalbert parish in the New Town of Prague are considered. The...
The Life and Work of the Pastors Alfred Kocáb and Jiří Doležal between years 1968 and 1989
Pfann, Michael ; Moree, Pieter (advisor) ; Trojan, Jakub (referee)
This thesis deals with the life and work of two pastors of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren, Alfréd Kocáb and Jiří Doležal, between 1968-1989. For this research the oral history method was used. The thesis contains a selection of interviews, which the author conducted with the pastors in spring 2013, and an interpretation of them according to the rules of the discipline of oral history. Preceding to the interviews available materials related to both pastors were studied, which are mainly documents in church and state archives, but also interviews with contemporaries of both pastors. The aim of this thesis is to create a platform to the pastors to speak, so that they can present their life and work according to their memories and comment various events, which constituted them. The two pastors represent two different wings in the ECCB in that period. In this way, these two concepts and accents of life and theology are entering into a mutual dialog. Through two life testimonies we can pars pro toto observe the life of the church and the country in the difficult years 1968-1989. The second aim of the work was to create new historical sources in the form of recordings of interviews and transcriptions of them.
